Hendrik Pollex started his career within the gas business at the Dispatching Centre of the former German company BEB Erdoel Erdgas GmbH in 1984. Hendrik is an expert in operational matters having worked in a lot of different positions along the total gas chain including being head of Contract Dispatching and Capacity Management Department. As Manager of the Balancing Energy department within Gasunie Deutschland Hendrik was responsible for the daily operation and cooperation of the market areas Aequamus and Gaspool in Germany.

Hendrik worked on an assignment basis as Business Adviser for Shell Energy Europe in The Hague and as Project Manager for Gas Transport Services BV in Groningen. As BEB’s representative Hendrik was member of different WGs under the umbrella of EASEE-gas and GTE to define and develop business rules, CBPs and GGP for harmonising and streamlining the gas transport across Europe and was involved in the negotiation of IAs for cross border points.
