Laurent Percebois joined ENTSOG in 2015 and is a Senior Adviser in the Market Business Area, with a focus on gas transmission tariffs and the impact of the transition to renewable and low-carbon gases, including hydrogen, on gas TSO tariffs and revenues. He also participated in ENTSOG’s cost-benefit analysis methodology. He has a background of more than 16 years in the gas industry.

He completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2006, where he held a 5-year teaching and research position in the Economics department. After an experience in a consultancy, in 2008 he joined Gaz de France (now ENGIE). There he held several positions: first as a Research Engineer working on the economics of supply with a focus on the British market, then as an Analyst developing benchmarking studies on infrastructure regulation in Europe, and later as a Strategy and Markets Analyst specialising on European network codes.

Then, he worked on European affairs for GRTgaz, the French gas transmission subsidiary of ENGIE, where his tasks mostly covered network codes, and he later joined ENTSOG.
