Irina Oshchepkova graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) having received Bachelor's Degree in International Trade Law and Master's Degree in International Economic Law (Energy Policy and Diplomacy Department). She also took a number of courses on International and European Law in Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (Milan).
Prior to joining ENTSOG Irina worked for Rosneft Oil Company, Moscow Office of White & Case LLP, TNK-BP Management OJSC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and as a legal representative in Moscow civil courts. The main spheres of her expertise include: legal regulation of natural gas pipeline transportation in European Union (in particular, Italy) and Russia, legal regulation of investing in oil & gas industry (production sharing agreements, concession agreements, license agreements) and various issues of Russian and International tax law.
Irina started working for Market Team of ENTSOG in February 2012.
