ENTSO-E & ENTSOG TYNDP 2024 SCENARIOS STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION WORKSHOP AND STAKEHOLDER ROUNDTABLES

Dear Stakeholder,

All interested stakeholders are invited to participate at the ENTSO-E & ENTSOG TYNDP 2024 Scenarios Stakeholder Consultation Workshop, on 13 July 2023, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST at ENTSO-E’s office at Rue de Spa 8, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.

Regulation (EU) 347/2013 requires that ENTSO-E and ENTSOG use scenarios for their respective Ten-Year Network Development Plans (TYNDPs). This event will present the draft Storyline Report (updated from TYNDP 2022) which will be made available for public consultation from 4 July 2023 to 8 August 2023.

As part of the webinar, stakeholders will have the opportunity to take part in a discussion on the scenarios and provide their input on the assumptions and data developed by ENTSO-E and ENTSOG.

The workshop will take place in hybrid format. Due to a limited in-person capacity please indicate whether you will attend in person or online when registering.

In addition to the Consultation Workshop, ENTSO-E and ENTSOG will host a series of Scenarios Stakeholder Roundtables, on 13 July 2023 from 13:00 to 17:15 CEST.

The goal of these roundtables is to engage more deeply with stakeholders in a small-group format and gain more detailed feedback on specific topics included in the public consultation. The results of these roundtables will subsequently be summarised and made available for the general public via the scenarios website. The topics for the roundtables will be:

Session 1 (participants may choose to take part in one of the following two roundtables):

• Demand - Country-level final energy demand per sector and per carrier.
• Methodology - Modelling innovations on power-to-H2, electric vehicles, heat pumps and offshore together with related assumptions.

Session 2 (participants may choose to take part in one of the following two roundtables:

• Supply - Trajectories of renewable technology capacities, nuclear technology capacities, costs, prices, import potentials, conversion factors and other supply assumptions.
• Carbon budget.

To facilitate a more fruitful exchange with stakeholders, the Scenarios Stakeholder Roundtables will be a in-person-only event, limited to 20 persons per roundtable. To allow participation of as many different stakeholders as possible, we ask stakeholders to register only one representative per roundtable.
