GRIDTech 2024 - Competitiveness and Decarbonisation: The Role of Gas Grids

GIE and Eurogas, with the technical cooperation of ENTSOG, are hosting their 3rd GRIDTech event on 2 December, from 14:30 to 18:30 CET in Stanhope Hotel, Brussels.

How can Europe establish a clear, stable, and technology-inclusive regulatory framework to support its energy transition and decarbonisation efforts?

We invite you to join the discussions in-person with stakeholders to explore how Europe can establish a clear, stable and technology-inclusive regulatory framework to support its energy transition and decarbonisation efforts.

This year, GRIDTech will focus on:

  • Repurposing for hydrogen: basis and principles
  • Decarbonisation of the energy system
  • Industrial carbon management
  • Short Presentations/Study cases on infrastructure projects

ENTSOG will host a panel discussion on repurposing for hydrogen in practice: technical basis and transparent principles with the following speakers:

  • David Gil, Subject Manager, Interoperability & Data Exchange, ENTSOG
  • Joost Hooghiem, Director Hydrogen Network Netherlands, Gasunie
  • Daniel FraileChief Policy Officer, Hydrogen Europe

Christoph von dem Bussche, Managing Director at GASCADE Gastransport GmbH and NEL Gastransport GmbH, will host a dedicated GRIDTEch Talks session on the German Core Hydrogen Grid.

The conference will be followed by networking drinks on the premises.
