Dear Sir or Madam,
All interested stakeholders are invited to participate at the joint workshop on Guarantees of Origin (‘GO’) of ‘renewable and low-carbon gases’ organised by ENTSOG and GIE on 7 May 2019, from 9:30 to 17:00 at GIE/ENTSOG premises in Brussels.
At the European Commission’s 31st Madrid Forum in October 2018, it was broadly acknowledged that ‘renewable and low-carbon gases’ will play a significant and growing role in the energy transition. GIE and ENTSOG have developed a set of recommendations for an EU-wide GO scheme for such gases in consultation with Prime Movers group.
These draft recommendations are available in the Downloads section of the event page and we welcome stakeholders’ feedback during and before the workshop.
We welcome your written comments before 3 May COB to Alexandra.Kiss@entsog.eu.
GIE, ENTSOG and Prime Movers group will present the current thinking on this topic to participant stakeholders at this Workshop and the final results will be submitted to the upcoming Madrid Forum in June 2019.
The detailed agenda is also available in the Agenda section on the event page of the ENTSOG website.
The Workshop presentations can be viewed after 30 April in the Downloads section of the page.
Registration is now closed as full room capacity has been reached. If you would like to join the event by Skype, please use this link.
Please contact Alexandra.Kiss@entsog.eu for any questions regarding registration.
