Pascal De Buck studied law, specialising in economic law, before completing several management training courses, including at the Flemish School of Higher Education in Economics (VLEKHO) and EHSAL Management School (EMS) in Brussels and the IESE Business School's international Global CEO Program.

After joining Fluxys as a Legal Counsel in 1995, he became head of the Legal and Commercial departments before taking on the role of Commercial Director, where he was responsible for business development and strategy. Pascal was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Fluxys Belgium on 1 January 2015.

He became Managing Director of Fluxys Belgium in May 2020 and will hold this position until the Annual General Meeting in May 2026.
